Best of 2016

The year 2016 was in many aspects a good one and in others really bad. Therefore it is not easy to make a summary with my best of 2016.

What I can definitely state is that I bought many beautiful bags and shoes. But that is every year in my summary I guess…

But most of all: thank you my dear readers of this blog! I love reading your comments and I am so proud for your support! You are the best!

That was the post about my golden slippers, do you remember? I love to walk in these shoes, because they are really so comfy and stylish in one. The weather on that day was perfect and we shot the pics in Aachen in only 10 minutes.

Florence, my love! This halterneck lbd is an old one, but still in a perfect shape and together with my Chloé Drew and Prada wedges one of my favourite combos in summer.

That weekend in Cologne! We had an offer to try the newly renovated Steigenberger Cologne Rudolfplatz and it was so nice. I can really recommend this hotel, it has the perfect location for eating out, shopping and party. What else do you need? On our walk that sunday morning we found this bunch of balloons and I was as happy as a kid can be.And by the way: shirtdresses are perfect for summer days!

On our anniversary day we usually go out for dinner and so we did in 2016. We had good luck with the weather and so I could wear my leather mini skirt. This one is so versatile, I can highly recommend buying a leather skirt. Because you can style it on so many ways. Our dinner was really amazing. If you ever have the opportunity being in Aachen go to Estor. It´s worth every Euro, I promise you

As not many of you might know: my father owns a quarry. It was really fun shooting there and one of the first shootings with my Drew bag. It was really hot and perfect to serve my passion for hats. This one was very old and therefore I had to sort it out during our move this year. But I will buy another hat for summer for sure.

I love reading other bloggers´posts and for sure ohh couture is on my weekly bucket list. She was the one that introduced me to Storets.com. That Korean label and store where you can find really extraordinary pieces. This blue blouse as well as the black sweatshirt with the ruffled sleeves. I love both and you did also my readers. These two were on my top 10 list.

Parisian chic

Chanel-style is not always my kinda stuff, but when I saw this Zara jacket I had to buy it immediately. With a silk blouse and leather pants it is a bit edgy and not too old fashioned. What I love, too are two-tone outfits. The best are black and white and pink and red. Yes, really. That works together perfectly, believe me!

My first shooting in Cologne! On the street! OMG!

The outfit was nothing so special, but it was really the first time my man was my photographer and it was the first time we made pictures in a city apart from Aachen, my hometown. Incredible feeling then, but absolutely normal now. That´s what I call development…
