Combat boots: Heißer Trend oder mehr?
Da werden sich mal wieder die Geister scheiden: ist das ein Trend, den man mitmachen muss und will oder ist es keiner? Findet man diese Boots cool oder klobig? Unweiblich oder praktisch? Interessant oder langweilig?
Mein Standpunkt ist: ich liebe diese Art Schuhe oder Boots und freue mich, dass der neueste Trend mal wieder da ist, denn neu ist er eigentlich gar nicht. Boots zum Schnüren gibt es immer wieder und diesmal haben sogar die Couture Label wie Chanel, Dior, Prada und Co. welche im Angebot. Einen festen Standpunkt hat man übrigens wirklich in diesen Stiefeletten. Kein Balancieren auf eleganten High Heels, sondern eher festgemauert in der Erden, um es mit Schiller zu sagen. Ein bestimmtes Auftreten ist mit solchen Boots einfacher, auch im Job und gerade wir Frauen können ein bisschen mehr Standhaftigkeit immer gut gebrauchen, oder?
Combat boots als Stilbruch
Combat boots kann man natürlich wunderbar im Wald zum Spaziergang tragen, aber die High End Varianten brauchen ein urbanes Pflaster, um zur Geltung zu kommen. Mit einer chicen Hose und Bluse, einem Blazer und/ oder feinem Camel Mantel wird daraus ein cooler Stilbruch, den man in jedem Alter tragen kann. Derbes und Feines zusammen ist eigentlich immer eine spannende Mischung, nur zu gewollt darf es nicht sein.
Und wer es mit Nachhaltigkeit hat so wie ich: fette Logos und anderer Firlefanz können nächstes Jahr out sein, einfache Boots jedoch kann man immer wieder tragen. Sie sind nämlich nicht nur der Trend du Jour, sondern zeitlos! Und ob braun oder schwarz: anything goes je nach persönlicher Vorliebe.

To make no mistake about that: opinions differ if you should follow that trend or not. Cool or clumsy? Unfeminine or practical? Interesting or boring?
My point of view: I love these kinda boots and I’m glad they’re back, because this trend isn’t new! Laced boots will be there over and over again, but this time even the Couture houses have them, like Chanel Dior, Prada and Co. And with these boots you have literally a point of view. No balancing on elegant high heels, but walled up in the earth so steady (to say it with one of Germany’s best known poet Schiller). A resolute appearance is much easier with boots and especially at work women need a bit more steadfastness, no?
Combat boots as stylistic inconsistency
Combat boots can be worn for a walk in the woods, but the high end pairs need a more urban area for a little bit of showing off. With a chic blouse and trousers, a blazer and/ or a classic camel coat you create a cool break in style, that can be worn at any age. Rough and delicate textures are a wonderful and exciting mixture. But don’t let it be too wanted and too less you!
And for those of love who are into sustainability like me: big logos and other fashionable Firlefanz could be outdated next year, but simple boots are never out of style. They are literally timeless and not only the trend du jour. Brown or black: it just depends on your good taste. Anything goes!
