Khaki summer dress

While strolling through Florence I found this summer dress in khaki. It is made of cotton and silk and so airy, perfect for any heatwave. Though I’m absolutely not a military fan I love all colors from khaki to olive and back. The Gucci bag is a vintage piece I stumbled upon in a second hand shop. Sometimes there are great finds and bargains possible. Therefore I try a closer look into vintage shops whenever possible. The perfect partner for the khaki dress were for sure:

Khaki, too. And absolutely adorable. These were my first Aquazzuras and the beginning of a true love affair. Or should I say obsession? Maybe both! Yesterday, only 5 days before our summer holidays, I ordered another pair. Again khaki. Hopefully they arrive before we leave! When we made the photos for this shooting it began with the sunniest day and at the end there was a heavy thunderstorm at Lake Garda. I love thunder and lightning (best situation: lying in bed and watching the spectacle outside) and the next day everything was fine again.

Khaki summer dress

Während wir durch Florenz gelaufen sind habe ich dieses khaki farbene Sommerkleid gefunden. Es ist aus Baumwolle und Seide und so luftig, perfekt um jedwede Hitzewelle zu überstehen. Obwohl ich absolut kein Militärfan bin liebe ich alle Töne von Khaki bis Oliv und dazwischen. Die Guccitasche ist übrigens ein Vintagestück,  über das ich in einem Second Hand Laden gestolpert bin. Manchmal sind wirklich tolle Funde und Schnäppchen möglich. Daher werfe ich wann immer möglich einen Blick in Vintageläden. Der perfekte Partner für dieses Sommerkleid waren natürlich:

Auch khaki farben und absolut anbetungswürdig. Diese waren meine ersten Aquazzuras und der Beginn einer großen Liebe. Oder sollte ich besser sagen Obsession? Vielleicht beides! Gestern, nur 5 Tage vor unserem Sommerurlaub, habe ich wieder ein Paar geordert. In khaki. Hoffentlich kommen sie vorher noch an! Als wir die Fotos für dieses Shooting machten war zunächst ein super sonniger Tag und am Ende tobte ein Gewittersturm am Gardasee. Ich liebe Blitz und Donner (beste Situation: im Bett liegen und das Spektakel draussen anschauen) und am nächsten Tag war es auch schon wieder schön.
