Parisian Chic

EN Many girls and women from outside dream of the Parisian Chic. But what does it mean? Parisian chic is the synonym for elegance, attitude and effortless style throughout the whole world. What is the essence of the parisian chic nowadays? Many books are written about it, many blogs engage in this theme and at least 2 times a year it is pressent through mass media because of the Paris Fashion Week. There are a few congruent things in descriptions of parisian chic:

• Never follow the mainstream
• Feel comfortable in your clothes (not too tight-fitting e.g.)
• a mixture between male and female aspects
• Bags: never ever a fake!
• never be poorly groomed
• mix cheap and expensive items
• never wear necklace plus earrings

The author and ex-model Ines de la fressange says these garments are totally Parisian: Jacket, trenchcoat, a pullover in navy-blue, tanktop, little black dress, jeans and leatherjacket. I want to add: not only a normal jacket, but a bouclé jacket à la Chanel. And red lipstick (though I hardly use it)!

My personal interpretation of Parisian chic is a mixture of hard and soft, black and white and a little modern twist. I mix a bouclé jacket in white with a blouse with very long cuffs, a (faux) leatherpants and my Gucci-like midheel loafers. To me this is a classy, but not boring mixture, because of the soft jacket with it´s little black bow and the more edgy leatherpants instead of a suit pant.

DE Viele Mädchen und Frauen von außerhalb träumen vom Pariser Chic. Aber was ist das eigentlich? Pariser Chic ist auf der ganzen Welt ein Synonym für Eleganz, Haltung und mühelosen Stil. was ist also die essenz des Pariser chics heutzutage? darüber gibtzt es viele Bücher, ganze Blogs widmen sich dem Thema und mindestens 2 mal pro jahr ist das Thema präsent in den Massenmedien wegen der Pariser Fashion Week. Es gibt einige übereinstimmende Dinge in den Beschreibungen:

• Folge niemals dem Mainstream.
• Fühle dich wohl in deinen Klamotten (z.B. trage nichts zu Enges).
• Es ist eine Mischung aus männlichen und weiblichen Aspekten.
• Handtaschen: niemals eine gefälschte Tasche!
• Sei niemals ungepflegt.
• Mixe günstige mit teuren Teilen.
• Trage niemals eine Halskette zusammen mit Ohrringen.

Die Autorin und Ex-Model Ines de la Fressange m,eint diese Kleidungsstücke wären total Pariserisch: ein Jacket, Trenchcoat, Pullover in dunkelblau, Tanktops, das kleine Schwarze, Jeans und Lederjacken. Ich möchte noch hinzufügen: nicht nur ein normales, sondern auch ein Bouclé Jacket à la Chanel. Und roter Lippenstift (auch wenn ich selber kaum welchen trage)!

Meine persönliche Umsetzung des Pariser Chics ist eine Mischung aus hart und weich, schwarz und weiß und einem modernen Twist. Ich mixe ein weißes Bouclé Jäckchen mit einer Bluse mit überlangen Ärmeln, einer (Kunst)Lederhose und meinen mittelhohen Loafern im Gucci Stil. Ich finde das zusammen edel und nicht langweilig wegen der Jacke mit der kleinen schwarzen Schleife zusammen mit der eher rockigen Lederhose statt einer Anzughose.
