Preppy Chic Office Outfit

Preppy chic? Do you know the movie Love Story? It´s from the 70ies and the girl called her boyfriend „Preppy“, because of his neat college-style. Everytime when my look is neat, clean and office-like I remember this word preppy and therefore I named this post Preppy Chic.

To me preppy is not boring, but being adequately dressed at the office though I´m not wearing a Co Ord or a suit. I love pairing the two-tone slingbacks with a pair of white jeans and a simple oversized black jacket. It is a little bit of a sensation that this jeans is not skinny and not boyfriend, what I usually wear. It is just an oldschool bootcut shape and I´m happy that I found it in my closet again! By the way: what do you think about my hairstyle? I really don´t like my straight hair that much, so I curl them almost every morning. Oldschool, too, eh? I think it´s  cool, my interpretation of one of Alexa Chungs hairstyles which I totally adore!

Preppy Chic? Kennt ihr den Film Love Story? er ist aus den 70ern und darin nannte das Mädchen ihren Freund immer „Preppy“ wegen seines adretten Collegestils. Immer, wenn my Look adrett, clean und büro-tauglich ist muss ich an dieses Wort preppy denken und daher habe ich diesen Post so genannt (preppy heisst übersetzt auch adrett und nett!).

Ich finde adrett ist nicht langweilig, sondern bedeutet adäquat angezogen zu sein im Büro, auch wennich kein zusammen passendes Ensemble oder einen Anzug trage. Ich liebe es meine two-tone Slingbacks mit einem Paaar weißer Jeans und einem schwarzen leicht oversized Blazer zu tragen. Dies ist übrigens eine kleine Senation, den die Jeans ist weder skinny oder boyfriend, was ich normalerseise trage. Es ist lediglich eine oldschool Bootcut Jeans und ich bin glücklich sie in meinem Schrank wiedergefunden  zu haben! Nebenbei: was haltet ihr von meiner Frisur? Ich mag meine glatten Haare nicht besonders und so mache ich mir fast jeden Morgen Wellen oder leichte Locken. Auch oldschool, nicht wahr? Ich find´s cool und es ist meine Interpretation von einer Alexa Chung Frisur, welche ich anbetungswürdig finde!
