Ein Puffer Coat, zu deutsch Daunenmantel oder wattierter Mantel ist momentan mein Mittel der Wahl um mich warm zu halten. Diesen Winter gibt es eine große Auswahl an Formen und Farben.
Puffer Coat
Ein Puffer Coat, das ist natürlich nichts neues, schon seit einigen Saisons gibt es oversized Mäntel, mit und ohne echter Daunenfüllung. Auch der Utilitylook ist nicht neu in diesem Winter, aber immer wieder cool und eben nicht das reine Outdoorjacken-Outfit. Puffer Coats oder Jackets sind in der Regel oversized geschnitten und kreieren eine riesige Silhouette, die alles andere versteckt. Gefällt mir auch gut, aber ich wollte ein Teil mit dem man in der Stadt stylish unterwegs ist und ebenso beim Waldspaziergang. Dazu brauche ich einen etwas schmaler geschnittenen Mantel mit Kapuze und großen Taschen. Ich habe lange gesucht und mich schließlich für das Investment in einen teuren Mantel entschieden, den ich lange tragen möchte. Ein Teil nur für ein Jahr ist nicht nachhaltig und somit absolut out.
Die navyblaue Farbe habe ich bewußt gewählt, weil ich ein Faible für Blautöne habe und weil Blau zu vielem passt und nicht direkt nach Wanderführer aussieht. Schließlich bin ich auch in urbanen Umfeldern unterwegs. Der Schnitt ist eher schmal, es passt aber ein dicker Pullover darunter, das war mir wichtig, denn ich trage Mäntel auch gerne offen, will aber natürlich nicht frieren.
Der Pullover hat einen riesigen Rollkragen, was ich in Coronazeiten auch praktisch finde: so kann ich draußen den Kragen über die Nase ziehen, wenn mir andere Menschen entgegenkommen. Außerdem hält es warm und ist kuschelig.
Meine Schnür- oder Combat Boots hatte ich schon letzten Herbst und freue mich, dass der Trend ungebrochen ist! Tipp: eine halbe Nummer größer kaufen und mit dicken Strümpfen tragen im Winter!
Bottega Veneta bag
Meine Tasche ist die Padded Cassette von Bottega Veneta, geliehen bei Fobe für 2 Monate, um auszuprobieren, ob sie etwas wäre für mich. Leider habe ich momentan kaum Gelegenheiten draußen eine Tasche zu tragen. Die Padded Casette Bag ist aus wunderbar weichem Leder gemacht und in diesem hellen Blau perfekt zu meinem Puffer Coat. Viel Stauraum bietet sie nicht, aber der Trendfaktor ist nach wie vor hoch. Trotzdem würde ich sie nicht kaufen: sie ist in meinen Augen zu trendy und vermutlich nicht so wertstabil wie andere Modelle. Daher ist es super und vor allem nachhaltig, dass es mittlerweile Verleihe für Designer Taschen gibt und ich werde es 2 Monate lang genießen sie zu tragen!

Puffer coat
A Puffer Coat, that is nothing new, there are oversized coats for several years now with and without down filling. As well as the utility look is not new, but over and over cool and not just an ordinary hiking outfit. A puffer coat is mostly oversized with shaping a big silhouette which hides everything that’s under it. I love that, too, but opted for a coat with a slimmer fit, because I wanted a stylish look for the city and a useful jacket for outdoor walks. This coat is smaller and has a big hood and pockets. After long research I decided to invest in an expensive item, because I want to wear it for a long time. As a piece for only a year is not sustainable and therefore out!
I chose navy blue consciously, because I love all shades of blue, it fits to many other colours and doesn’t look as if you are a nature ranger. As said the cut is slim, but wide enough for a bigger sweater. That is important to me, because I love to wear my coats open, but don’t want to be cold.
The sweater has a big turtleneck, which is super practical in times of Corona: I can hide my nose in it when I have to cross other people and it is cozy and warm. My lace up boots are from last season and I really appreciate that this trend is still not over. My tipp: buy them half a size bigger than usual and you can wear them with chunky socks in winter.
Bottega Veneta bag
My bag is the Padded Cassette bag by Bottega Veneta, loaned out via Fobe for 2 months so I can try if the bag would be nice to buy. Unfortunately there are not many opportunities to wear the bag right now. It is made of buttery soft and thick leather and simply perfect with the coat because of the light blue colour. It does not have much space in it, but it is still very trendy. Regardless f the style factor I won’t buy the bag: it is too trendy and in my opinion it will depreciate over time. therefore I am super happy that it is possible to loan out designer bags and I will enjoy wearing this beauty for the next 2 months.
