Stripes, Slacks and Sneakers

EN Stripes, slacks and sneakers: an unbeatable mixture! Today I wanted to go to a hairdresser to cut my hair off a little bit. I had no appointment, because this was a very spontaneous decision and so I had time for a little bit of strolling around town with my man. The first I went out after one week of being ill at home, that sucks I can assure you! We went to a small shop in Aachen and there it was: a pullover with stripes, oversized, but not too much, with cute buttons on the shoulder and ON SALE! The perfect piece! Back home there was the second good thing this Saturday: my Nike Sneakers were waiting for me! And they fit, look nice and don´t make my small feet look as if they were twice as big.

Why do I tell you that? Because one dream doesn´t come true this week: I ordered a pair of Stan Smith Sneakers, yes the fav Adidas sneakers from 1972, with red (faux) pony fur at the heels. I admired them on so many bloggers´feet and wanted to have them as well. Gorgeous, adorable, wonderful. But not at my feet! They were not too big, don´t get me wrong, it was the right size, but they look awful on me. Way too wide and they make my feet look like a size 10. It was a disaster! I was longing for white sneakers for so long, but they don´t work. What to do now? I searched again and found an alternative: Nike Cortez in white leather. I ordered a pair and it was love at first sight! They are comfy, small enough and really cool! So I completed todays outfit of stripes and sneakers with a pair of slacks and one of my biker leather jackets. Now we can go out having a coffee and I wish you a wonderful weekend!

DE Streifen, Slacks und Sneakers: eine unschlagbare Mischung! Ich wollte heute zum Friseur meine Haare ein bisschen schneiden lassen. Ich hatte natürlich keinen Termin, weil es eine spontane Entscheidung war und so konnte ich ein bißchen durch die Stadt laufen mit meinem Mann. Das erste Mal, dass ich rauskonnte nach einer Woche krank zu Hause sein, was echt zum kotzen ist, das könnt ihr mir glauben! Wir sind in einen kleinen Laden in Aachen gegangen und da war er: ein Streifenpullover, oversized, aber nicht zuviel, mit süßen Knöpfen an der Schulter und IM SALE! Das perfekte Stück. Zurück zu Hause wartete dann das 2. gute Ding auf mich am heutigen Samstag: meine Nike Sneakers! Und sie passen, sehen toll aus und lassen meine Füße nicht doppelt so groß aussehen.

Warum ich das erzähle? Nun ja, ein Traum ist diese Woche nicht wahr geworden: ich hatte ein Paar Stan Smith bestellt, ja die berühmten Adidas Sneakers von 1972, mit rotem (falschem) Ponyfell an den Fersen. Ich hatte sie an so vielen Bloggerfüßen bewundert und wollte auch welche haben. Wunderschön, anbetungswürdig, wunderbar. Aber nicht an meinen Füßen! Sie waren viel zu groß, nicht falsch verstehen, die Größe war schon richtig, aber sie sahen ätzend aus an mir. Viel zu breit und sie ließen meine Füße aussehen, als würde ich Größe 43 tragen. Es war furchtbar. Ich wollte so lange schon weiße Sneakers haben, aber sie funktionierten einfach nicht. Was tun? Ich habe weitergesucht und eine Alternative gefunden: Nike Cortez in weißem Leder. Ich habe ein Paar bestellt und es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick! Bequem, schmal genug und wirklich cool. Also habe ich das heutige Outfit mit Streifenpullover und Sneakers komplettiert mit Slacks und Lederjacke. Jetzt können wir irgendwo Kaffee trinken gehen und euch wünsche ich ein wunderbares Wochenende!
