The bandshirts revival: how to style it

Bandshirts were seen everywhere in the 80s and the 90s, not only at concerts or festivals. Most of all bandshirts are from hardrock and heavy metal bands. Suddenly in 2016 they are are here again and celebrate an enormous revival.

You can see bandshirts or #bandtees during fashion weeks and almost every blogger wears an outfit with a bandshirt. Yep, like me. But: I collected some shirts from the 90ies on. The oldest one is a shirt with the Rolling Stones tongue. I loved these shirts from the beginning. But I hardly wore the the past few years. I had seen them too much on me.

Nevertheless, as I saw pictures with bandtees I grabbed mine out of the closet and guess what: I love wearing them again. Even at the office with a denim skirt or jeans and a blazer. This one here is made by Amplified clothing, they have a huge collection and affordable prizes. I have to admit that I am longing for a t-shirt that is not really a bandshirt. It is made by Loewe and so expensive, but so cool…… I´m still dreaming of it, but today I show you one of my interpretations of that trend.

And not to forget: I know all the bands I´m wearing! Don´t know if everybody else does… 🙂

In den 80ern und 90ern sah man überall bandshirts, nicht nur auf Konzerten oder Festivals. Die meisten waren bedruckt mit Hardrock oder Heavy metal Motiven. Plötzlich in 2016 sind sie wieder da and feiern ein großes Revival.

Man sieht bandshirts oder #bandtees während der Fashion Weeks und fast jeder Blogger trägt ein Outfit damit. Ja, ich auch. Aber: ich habe meine seit den 90ern gesammelt. Das älteste ist von den Rolling Stones mit der berühmten Zunge. Ich habe diese Shirts immer geliebt von Anfang an. Aber ich habe sie in den letzten Jahren fast gar nicht mehr getragen. Ich hatte mich satt gesehen.

Nichtsdestotrotz, als ich Bilder mit bandshirts gesehen habe, habe ich meine aus dem Kleiderschrank geholt und was glaubt ihr: ich liebe es sie wieder zu tragen. Sogar im Büro mit einem langen Jeansrock oder mit Jeans und Blazer. Diess hier ist von Amplified clothing. Sie haben eine riesige Auswahl und erschwingliche Preise. Denn ich muss zugeben, dass ich verrückt bin nach einem T-Shirt, das noch nicht mal ein bandshirt ist. Es ist von Loewe, irre teuer und irre cool…. ich träume immer noch davon, aber heute zeige ich euch erst mal eine meiner Interpretationen dieses Trends.

Übrigens: ich kenne alle die Bands, die ich spazieren trage. Ich bin nicht sicher, ob das immer so der Fall ist…. 🙂
