Waterfall Coat
What is a waterfall coat? It is a coat with a special lapel that reminds of a waterfall. I bought the white coat last year and I’m extremely satisfied with it so I bought another one in camel. Waterfall coats can be styled very easily up and down for each occasion. It is perfect when you love layered outfits and want to give your look a feminine hint, because the flowing lapel is really flattering and soft. I style it with my business suits as well as with denim for a walk or a city/ shopping trip.
My coats are made of Polyester, not my favourite material, but they are lightweight and look way more expensive than they are. Actually they’re on sale for about 25 € and up! For that price you can’t expect a wool coat, so I took the ‚bad fibre‘ and use these coats very often. The fit is a bit small so I suggest that you size up for a more casual look.

Waterfall Coat
Was ist ein Wasserfall Mantel? Ein Mantel mit einem Schalkragen! Klingt im englischen netter finde ich, deswegen verwende ich den Begriff Waterfall Coat weiterhin. Ich habe den weißen Mantel letztes Jahr gekauft und da ich super zufrieden damit bin habe ich noch einen in camel dazu genommen. Waterfall Coats können ganz leicht gestylt werden in jede Richtung, je nach Anlass. Sie sind perfekt, wenn man wie ich Lagenlook liebt und seinem Outfit eine feminine Note verleihen möchte, da der Schalkragen super schmeichelhaft und soft ist. Ich kombiniere sie daher mit meinen Business Anzügen genauso wie mit Jeans für den Spaziergang oder Städtetrip.
Meine Mäntel sind leider aus Polyester, nicht gerade mein Lieblingsmaterial, aber dafür sind sie leicht und sehen auch wesentlich teurer aus als sie sind. Gerade gibt es diese im Sale ab knapp 25 €. Für den Preis kann man keinen Wollmantel erwarten, also habe ich das ‚böse Material‘ in Kauf genommen und trage sie sehr viel zur Kompensation. Der Schnitt ist übrigens recht schmal, so dass ich empfehle mindestens eine Nummer größer zu wählen, um einen etwas lässigeren Style zu bekommen.
