Week 01/2017 at claudinesroom

My weekly reviews  will be slightly different in 2017 and I’ll try to post regularly to give you a short survey what happened at claudines room. This week I had to work in my corporate job after the Christmas holidays. To be honest it was really hard!

Week 01

Reading material of the week: I’ve read the book I ordered before Christmas. It’s called „Stilvoll“ by Marlene Sørensen and is about fashion. Female artists and Blogger are talking about their views on fashion, style and more. I liked it very much! You can get it here:

My opinion:  Respect is everything! No matter if you are leaving a comment in the internet, Instagram or Facebook or you are talking in reality to other people. Try always to be respectful. You may criticize others, no problem. But with respect I bet the other one can adopt it more easily. Kindness doesn’t cost a thing.

My best buys: I ordered a hat and beautiful suede booties at The Outnet and I love them both. And I couldn’t resist a wrapdress by Diane von Furstenberg. My first one! I adore the iconic wrap dresses by DvF for a long time and now I found one at Matches Fashion. Thanks to the Sale! My small Chloé Faye bag was ordered in 2016 and arrived at New Years Eve, so that doesn’t count….. but it so gorgeous, I wore it every day in the past week. 

My Outfit: My New Years Eve outfit! I really felt a little bit like a princess though it was cold outside. There is a quote: Who wants to look good has to suffer. Sometimes quite true.

My plans: I have to work at the office for another week and a half and then we are going to the Alps for our winter holidays. Afterwards there is another month of work and then: Lisbon! I’m soon excited. I’ve never been to Lisbon and as we don’t want to celebrate Carnival here we are going on a city trip for 5 days. Yeah!

Meine weekly reviews werden in 2017 ein kleines bisschen anders werden. Ich versuche regelmäßiger Wochenrückblicke zu posten, die euch einen kleinen Überblick geben über das, was bei claudines room passiert ist. Diese Woche war meine erste Arbeitswoche nach dem Urlaub. Um ehrlich zu sein war es schon hart!

Week 01

Lesestoff der Woche: Ich habe das Buch gelesen, das ich vor Weihnachten bestellt habe. Es heisst: „Stilvoll“ von Marlene Sørensen und ist über Mode. Künstlerinnen und Blogger erzählen über Mode, Style und mehr. Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen, also ist es mein Lesetipp der Woche. Hier könnt ihr es bestellen:

Meine Meinung: Respekt ist alles! Egal, ob man einen Kommentar im Internet, bei Instagram oder Facebook hinterlässt oder man in echt mit Menschen spricht. Versucht immer respektvoll zu sein. Kritik ist kein Problem, aber mit Respekt können andere damit besser umgehen. Freundlichkeit kostet nichts.

Meine besten Käufe: Ich habe einen Hut und Wildleder Booties bei The Outlet bestellt und bin hin und weg! Und ich konnte einem Wickelkleid von Diane von Furstenberg nicht widerstehen. Mein erstes! Die ikonischen Wickelkleider bete ich schon lange an und jetzt habe ich eines bei Matches Fashion gefunden. Dank des andauernden Sale. Die Chloé Faye in small habe ich schon 2016 bestellt und sie ist an Silvester gekommen, deshalb zählt das nicht…. Aber sie ist so schön, ich habe sie ununterbrochen in der vergangenen Woche getragen.

Mein Outfit: Mein Outfit, welches ich Silvester getragen habe. Ich habe mich damit wirklich ein bisschen wie eine Prinzessin gefühlt, auch wenn es draußen echt kalt war. Es gibt so ein Sprichwort: Wer schön sein will muss leiden. Wohl wahr manchmal! 

Meine Pläne: Ich muss noch anderthalb Wochen arbeiten und dann geht’s in den Winterurlaub in die Alpen. Ich freue mich total. Danach muss ich wieder einen Monat arbeiten und daaaaann: Lissabon wir kommen! Ich bin schon ganz aufgeregt, weil ich noch nie in Lissabon war. Da wir nicht Karneval feiern fahren wir dorthin für 5 Tage. Yeah!
