Weekly review #15

EN My weekly review #15 for the last week is going to be a little bit short I guess. Nothing really interesting happened. Don´t get me wrong, it´s not a problem. It´s just a normal life: getting up at 6 in the morning, going to work at 7, food shopping after work, arriving at home at half past 5, cooking, eating, cleaning up: 7 p.m. and that´s it! Absolutely non glamorous and not spectacular.

Reading material of the week: Same same, but different: magazines and blogs. I had the idea to make a list for you of my favourite blogs, but I dismissed it. I am sure that I will forget one and that would be not so nice. Well, I read all of you blogging ladies out there! Nope, I don´t read blogs about fashion or lifestyle which are edited and/ or written by male bloggers. Why? I don´t know any which are good and fashion for men is not my special kind of interest to be honest (and my man has his own style and is absolutely resistant against trends….).

Opinion of the week: I am not into plastics. I really don´t like this kind of material where it is not absolutely necessary. So I was a little bit annoyed when I got my ‚Petite Box‘ from Switzerland and there was a plastic bag which was declared as being a fashion item! To me it was just a plastic bag and it smelled awful, so I decided to throw it away. Normally I try to recycle and be ecofriendly, but this smelly thing can´t even be used as a gift for anybody else. Fashion item? No, to me it´s a waste of ressources! Unnecessary!

Catch of the week: I ordered 3 things at Missguided, but only 1 arrived: a simple boyfriend t-shirt in khaki. The jumpsuit and the shoes were misseng, so there was no catch of the week. But wait: my catch of the week was the first local asparagus I bought at the market on saturday. It was delicious and not too expensive. Wonderful!

Look of the week: As I shot only one look last week for you to show, the look in navy blue, this is my look of the week. On Instagram you can see more, because there´s enough time everyday to make 1 photo with the iPhone for IG, but not enough to make good and interesting photos with a real camera….. What I loved about the navy outfit was it´s simplicity and casual elegance. You can really wear this at 99% of your common activities by adding a jacket and you are perfectly dressed. I cropped the jeans by myself, because all of them are too long for me and I love showing the ankles a bit. I think this is more delicate, especially when wearing flats.

Forecast: There will be some kind of competition on my blog and you can win something! I hope it´s finished by the end of this week and I can publish it at the weekend. So stay tuned! Our holiday destination is fixed: we are going to Italy, first to Liguria and afterwards to Florence. We will take time to get there and back and I hope the weather will be fine. I´m really looking forward to this trip and can´t await it!

DE Mein weekly review #15 der letzten Woche wird etwas kurz ausfallen schätze ich. Nicht wirklich interessantes ist passiert. Versteht mich nicht falsch: das ist nicht schlimm, es ist halt ein ganz normales Leben: aufstehen um 6, zur Arbeit fahren um 7, nach der Arbeit Lebensmittel einkaufen und um halb 6 zuhause ankommen, kochen, essen aufräumen: 19 Uhr und das war´s. Absolut unglamourös und unspektakulär.

Lesestoff der Woche: Magazine und Blogs. Ich hatte darüber nachgedacht eine Liste meiner Lieblingsblogs für euch zu erstellen, aber da ich bestimmt einen vergessen würde wäre das nicht so nett. Also, ich lese alle eure Blogs liebe Damen da draussen! Nein, ich lese keine Mode- oder Lifestyleblogs, welche von Männern editiert und/ oder geschrieben werden. Warum? Weil ich keine guten kenne und Männermode zugegebenermaßen nicht mein spezielles Interessengebiet ist (und mein Mann seinen eigen Stil hat und resistent gegenüber Trends ist…).

Meinung der Woche: Plastik ist nicht mein Ding. Ich mag dieses Material wirklich nicht, nur wo es absolut nötig ist. Also war ich wirklich ziemlich verärgert als ich meine ‚Petite Box‘ aus der Schweiz bekommen habe und darin eine Plastiktüte gefunden habe, welche als Mode Accessoire deklariert war. Für mich war es einfach eine Plastiktüte und roch dazu noch wirklich fies, also habe ich sie weggeworfen. Normalerweise versuche ich vieles zu recyclen und umweltbewußt zu leben, aber dieses fies riechende Ding kann man auch keinem anderen Menschen schenken. Modisches Accessoire? Nein, für mich war das eine Ressourcenverschwendung. Unnötig!

Look der Woche: Da ich nur ein Outfit fotografiert habe lette Woche ist natürlich mein navy blaues der Look der Woche. Bei Instagram könnt ihr übrigens mehr sehen, weil jeden Tag schon Zeit ist mit dem iPhone 1 Foto von meinem Outfit zu machen, aber eben nicht genug Zeit um mit einer richtigen Kamera gute und interessnte Bilder zu machen…. Was ich an dem Look liebe ist seine Schlichtheit und lässige Eleganz. Man kann dies so zu 99% aller normalen Aktivitäten tragen und zusammen mit einem Blazer ist man immer gut angezogen. Die Jeans habe ich übrigens selber abgeschniutten, weil sie mir immer zu lang sind und weil ich es toll finde die Knöchel zu zeigen. Ich finde das ist graziler, vor allem wenn man flache Schuhe trägt.

Ausblick: Es wird eine Art Gewinnspiel hier auf dem Blog geben und ihr könnt etwas gewinnen! Ich hoffe es ist bis zum Ende der Woche fertig und ich kann es dann am Wochenende veröffentlichen, also bleibt dran! Unserr Urlaubsziele stehen jetzt: wir werden nach Italien fahren, zuerst nach Ligurien und danach nach Florenz. Dabei werden wir uns einige Tage Zeit lassen zum reisen und ich hoffe sehr, dass das Wetter gut wird. Ich freue mich wirklich sehr darauf und kann es kaum erwarten!
