Weekly Review #16 + 17

 EN My weekly review #16 and 17 is about the last 2 weeks. I don´t know why, but I missed the right time to write my weekly review #16 and suddenly it was wednesday! So I decided to wait until Sunday and write about 2 weeks in one review.

Reading material of the week: Same same, but a little bit different: magazines and blogs. But currently I´m reading the french Vogue and Italian blogs. Phew, not as easy as I thought it would be! Often I have to look for the words in my Leo translation app, but I think it´s a good training for our upcoming travels to Italy and France. Hopefully! 

Opinion of the week: I love handmade products! As I wrote in the outfit post about the espadrilles I bought I think it´s important where your stuff is made and who made it. I know that the budget of so many people is limited, but even with not so much money there are possibilities: the price range of the espadrilles begins at 29 € which I consider is really fair or you can buy clothes at Zara or Mango (for example!) which are made in Spain, Turkey or Portugal, which is better than clothes from far east and so on. If you open your eyes there are many things that are affordable and fairly (or more fair than others) produced. I love shopping and I love fairness. You can have both, believe me!

Catch of the week: In my last review I told you about the things I ordered at Missguided, but only 1 arrived: a simple boyfriend t-shirt in khaki. The rest arrived a week later, but I had to return it. Both did t fit, sad, but true! My current catch of the week is a fine Chloé pullover in ecru and biker pants by Zara in rose. And yes: the jumper is made in Italy and the pants in Turkey. I practice what I preach 😉

Look of the week: My look was definitely the party outfit with (faux) leather leggings and a lace top by Maje. I love this top! This outfit was really cool and I felt very comfortable wearing this. You can´t go wrong with an outfit in all black! As it was so cold the last week with snow and rain I had to wear my fur lined Army Parka again and I did´t shoot any outfits for you, shame on me! The week before I loved the outfit on our bicycle tour with my new white and handmade espadrilles. Hopefully I can wear them in the next week!

(No, I´m just kidding….)!  Next week is another national holiday and we booked a short trip to a lovely hotel in an old Palace near the Moselle next to the french and Luxembourgian border. It´s called Victor´s Hotel Schloss Berg and I´m really looking forward to this short trip and can´t await it! If the weather is fine we take my convertible, whoohoo!

DE Mein weekly review #16 und 17 ist von 2 Wochen. Ich weiß auch nicht warum, aber ich habe den richtigen Zeitpunkt verpasst den Rückblick für die Woche #16 zu schreiben und dann war es schon Mittwoch. Also habe ich entschieden zu warten und 2 Rückblicke in einem zu schreiben.

Lesestoff der Woche: Wie immer, aber doch ein bisschen anders: Magazine und Blogs. Aber momentan lese ich die französische Vogue und italienische Blogs. Puh, nicht so leicht wie ich dachte! Ich muss häufig Worte nachgucken in meiner Leo App, aber ich denke es ist ein gutes Training für unsere Urlaube in Frankreich und Italien. Hoffentlich!

Meinung der Woche: Ich liebe handgemachte Sachen! Wie ich schon in dem Outfit Post zu den Espadrilles, die ich gekauft habe, geschrieben habe ist es für mich wichtig wo die Sachen herkommen und wer sie gemacht hat. Ich weiß, dass das Budget vieler Menschen begrenzt ist, aber auch mit weniger Geld gibt es Möglichkeiten. Die Espadrilles beginnen preislich bei 29 €, was ich  sehr fair finde oder man kann Kleidung bei Zara oder Mango (als Beispiel!) kaufen, die in Spanien, der Türkei oder Portugal gefertigt worden sind, was besser ist als Sachen, die aus Fernost kommen. Wenn man offenen Auges durch die Welt geht sieht man viele Dinge, die man sich leisten kann und die fair (oder fairer als sonst) hergestellt werden. Ich liebe Shopping und ich liebe Fairness und man kann beides haben, glaubt mir!

Fang der Woche: In meinem letzten Rückblick habe ich über die Sachen von Missguided geschrieben, die ich bestellt hatte aber nur ein Boyfriend Shirt in khaki angekommen war. Letzte Woche kam dann der Rest, den ich direkt zurück geschickt habe. Beides passte nicht, schade. Mein aktueller Fang der Woche ist ein ganz dünner Pullover von Chloé in Ecru und eine Bikerhose von Zara in Rosé. Und ja: der Pulli ist aus Italien und die Hose aus der Türkei, ich praktiziere was ich predige 😉

Look der Woche: Mein Look war definitiv das Party Outfit mit der (Kunst)Lederleggings und dem Spitzentop von Maje. Hach ich liebe dieses Top! Das Outfit war richtig cool und ich habe mich darin so wohl gefühlt. Man liegt eh nie daneben mit einem Outfit komplett in schwarz! Weil es letzte Woche so kalt war und dazu schneite und regnete musste ich sogar wieder meinen mit Fell gefütterten Army Parka tragen und habe keine Outfits für euch fotografiert, Asche auf mein Haupt! Aus der Woche davor mochte ich das Outfit mit den neuen weißen Espadrilles bei der Radtour sehr gerne, hoffentlich kann ich sie in den nächsten Tagen noch mal tragen.

Nächste Woche ist ein Feiertag und wir haben spontan einen Kurztrip in einen hübsches Schlosshotel an der Mosel nahe der französischen und luxemburgischen Grenze gebucht.Es heißt Victor´s Hotel Schloß Berg und ich freue mich wirklich sehr darauf und kann es kaum erwarten! Wenn das Wetter gut genug ist fahren wir mit meinem Cabrio, juhu!
