Weekly review #18

My weekly review #18 is about the last  week and mostly about our trip to Luxemburg. We made a short trip to a lovely hotel in an old Palace near the Moselle next to the french and Luxembourgian border. It´s called Victor´s Residenz Schloss Berg and it was really worth staying there! Because of the national holiday it wasn´t the cheapest one, but worth every Euro! We got an upgrade to a junior suite with a lovely view of the garden and the breathtaking landscape around the hotel and across the Moselle. Really wonderful! We didn´t try the 3 star decorated restaurant, but the normal ones around and were really happy with our choice, so I can highly recommend the region and this hotel.

Opinion of the week: Currently there are so many posts about the changes caused by Instagram and Snapchat from bloggers allover Germany. I read a lot of complaints that bloggers must be influencers and only followers count and no longer blogcontent.

To be honest: I can´t hear it anymore! What are these girls and ladies complaining about? They are sponsored with most of the beautiful clothes, bags and shoes, they are paid for their posts, they can go to meetings and trips allover the world, e.g. Dubai, Dallas, the fashion weeks, just to name a few. Is that not enough? To me it sounds like envy. Envious of those other people with 100k followers plus without even having a blog. Maybe it is just anxiety of losing their privileges. But hey: Life is a changing game, every day and you can´t expect being a blogstar until you retire! 

Catch of the week: My Chloé Georgia bag I bought at Netaporter. I love this bag and it is expensive, of course, but not as expensive as other designer bags. There are wonderful alternatives for a lower budget, too, for example at &other stories! 

Look of the week: My look of the week was definitely the outfit I wore in Luxemburg. I love this dress! This outfit was a little bit classy with its embroideries, a little bit girlish and innocent, and I felt very comfortable wearing this. The weather was so nice at the weekend, we could even leave our jackets in the car. Luckily I paired the dress with the espadrilles (yes, again!), because we only found a garage a little off the center and had to walk about a mile. These shoes were comfortable the whole day! Perfect for any city trip and one of the shoes I´m going to take to Itlay in summer! The Georgia bag was big enough for my belongings (my man had to take the camera…), so it was a perfect match allover.

Forecast: Next weekend we´re going to visit my mum und stepdad again and I´m soooo happy! By the way: I love going to Frankfurt, too. I like this city very much, not only for shopping reasons, but for the green gardens and parks. So lovely! I hope I can shoot a few outfits for you there with my new tripod if my man´s not available as my photographer….

Mein Wochenrückblick #18 ist über die letzte Woche und unseren Kurztrip nach Luxemburg. Wir waren in einem tollen Schlosshotel an der Mosel in der Nähe der französischen und luxemburgischen Grenze. Es heisst Victor´s Residenz Schloß Berg und war den Aufenthalt wirklich wert! Wegen des Feiertag nicht ganz günstig, aber jeden Euro wert. Wir haben ein Upgrade in eine Juniorsuite bekommen mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf den Garten und die atemberaubende Landschaft hinter dem Hotel und über die Mosel. Wirklich toll. Das mit 3 Sternen dekorierte Restaurant haben wir nicht besucht, sondern normale Restaurants in der Gegend ausgesucht und waren absolut glücklich mit unserer Auswahl. Ich kann also die Region und das Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen.

   
 Lesestoff der Woche: Straßenkarten und Tips für Luxemburg und die Saar-Lor-Lux Region.

Meine Meinung der Woche: Momentan gibt es so viele Artikel über die Änderungen, die Instagram und Snapchat gebracht haben von deutschen Bloggern. Ich habe viele Beschwerden gelesen, dass Blogger auch Influencer sein müssen und nur noch Follower zählen statt Bloginhalte.

Um ehrlich zu sein: ich kann es nicht mehr hören! Worüber beschweren sich die Mädchen und Frauen da eigentlich? Sie werden gesponsert mit Kleidung, Schuhen Taschen, sie werden bezahlt für ihre posts, sie können zu Treffen und Reisen auf der ganzen Welt fahren, z.B. Dubai, Dallas, die Fashion Weeks um nur einiges zu nennen. Ist das nicht genug? Für mich klingt das nach Neid. Neidisch auf die Leute mit 100k Followern, die noch nicht mal einen Blog betreiben. Vielleicht ist es bloße Angst die Privilegien zu verlieren, ich weiß es nicht. Aber hey: das Leben ändert sich jeden Tag und man kann nicht erwarten als Blogstar irgendwann in Rente gehen zu können.

Fang der Woche: Meine Chloé Georgia bag , die ich bei Netaporter gekauft habe. Ich liebe diese Tasche und ja sie ist teuer, ich weiß, aber nicht so teuer wie andere Designer Taschen. Aber es gibt wunderbare Alternativen für ein kleineres Budget, zum Beispiel bei &other stories!

Look der Woche: Mein Look der Woche war definitiv das Outfit, welches ich in Luxemburg getragen habe. Ich finde dieses Kleid so toll! Das Kleid ist einerseits edel mit seinen Stickereien, ein bißchen auch mädchenhaft und unschuldig und es fühlte sich klasse an es zu tragen. Das Wetter war so schön, dass wir sogar die Jacke im Auto lassen konnten. Glücklicherweise habe ich meine Espadrilles (ja, schon wieder!) dazu getragen, denn wir haben nur ein Parkhaus außerhalb des Zentrums gefunden und mussten ca. 1,5 Kilometer laufen. Diese Schuhe sind wirklich so bequem den ganzen Tag lang! Perfekt für einen Städtetrip und eines der Paar Schuhe, die ich im Sommerurlaub mitnehmen werde. Die Georgia Tasche war auch groß genug für meine Sachen (mein Mann hat die Kamera getragen), so war insgesamt alles eine perfekte Zusammenstellung.

Ausblick: Nächstes Wochenende besuchen wir meine Mutter und meinen Stiefvater wieder einmal und ich bin sehr glücklich darüber. Nebenbei: ich liebe es nach Frankfurt zu fahren. Ich mag diese Stadt sehr, nicht nur aus Shopping-technischen Gründen, sondern wegen der Grünanlagen und Parks und ich hoffe ein paar Outfits dort fotografieren zu können mit meinem neuen Stativ, falls mein Mann als Fotograf nicht zur Verfügung stehen sollte….
