Weekly review #23

My weekly review #23 will give you a short survey what happened at claudines room in the last week. My last week was quite busy as I was attending a conference in Cologne for my job as an IT  product manager. Fun, but stressful. i don´t like sitting the whole day on a chair…

Reading material of the week: Magazines and blogs as usual and I have just begun reading a book written by Tiziano Terzani, a former correspondent of the german Spiegel magazine. It is about his years in Asia and I love to read this book, because I love South-East Asia so much and know most of the cities and countries he tells about.

Opinion of the week: In the last few weeks I read many articles in online magazines about blogger and instagrammer and that nobody can understand the hype. I think that blogging and instagramming can be a hard job and people talking about „those lazy ladies hanging around and showing off“ are just envious and have no idea what they are talking about. I don´t think that anything is fine in the blogosphere, but most of the posted articles are lacking a real insight in the business.

Catch of the week: Finally they arrived: my Gucci Marmont loafers in pale pink. I am so in love and hope the weather is going to be dry so that I can wear them (suede and rain is not a good idea…) and I found another pair of Gucci mules on Sale and could not resist, in pink, too. OMG, I´m so girly at the moment, unbelievable!

Look of the week: Just two words: Denim forever! I love denim and it´s pretty cool that an allover denim look is so in right now!

Forecast: Tomorrow we´re going to see AC/DC in Düsseldorf and I hope I will be able to hear something after that concert…. Plans for the weekend: none! Maybe driving to Cologne on Saturday for lunch and walking around watching people, but nothig special.

Mein Wochenrückblick #23 wird euch einen kleinen Überblick geben über das, was letzte Woche bei claudines room passiert ist. Meine letzte Woche war ziemlich voll mit Arbeit, da ich auf einer Konferenz in Köln war in meinem Job als IT Produktmanager. Es war interessant und lustig, aber auch echt anstrengend. Ich mag es nicht den ganzen Tag auf einem Stuhl zu sitzen…

Lesestoff der Woche: Magazine und Blogs, wie immer und ich habe gerade begonnen ein Buch von Tiziano Terzani zu lesen, einem früheren Korrespondenten des Spiegels. Es ist über seine Jahre in Asien und ich liebe das Buch, weil ich Süd-ost Asien so liebe und die meisten Städte und Länder kenne, über die er schreibt.

Meine Meinung der Woche: In den letzte Wochen habe ich immer wieder Artikel in Online Magazinen gelesen über Blogger und Instagrammer und dass niemand den Hype verstehen kann. Ich denke, dass bloggen und instagrammen ein verdammt harter Job sein kann und die Leute, die auf “ diese faulen Damen, die abhängen und sich was einbilden“ einfach nur neidisch sind und keine Ahnung haben worüber sie reden. Ich glaube nicht, dass alles super ist in der Blogosphäre, aber die meisten veröffentlichten Artikel zu dem Thema lassen eine wirkliche Einsicht in das Business sehr vermissen.

Fang der Woche: Sie sind endlich angekommen: meine Gucci Marmont Loafer in hellrosa. Ich bin so verliebt und hoffe das Wetter wird endlich trockener, so dass ich sie ganz oft tragen kann (Wildleder und Regen ist keine gute Idee…) und ich habe noch ein anderes Paar Mules von Gucci im Sale gefunden bei Fashionette und konnte nicht widerstehen, übrigens auch in rosa! OMG, ich bin so ein Mädchen momentan, unfassbar!

Look der Woche: Nur zwei Worte: Denim forever! Ich liebe Denim und finde es sehr cool, dass ein Denim Komplettlook momentan so in ist!

Ausblick:Morgen fahren wir nach Düsseldorf auf das AC/DC Konzert und ich hoffe ich bin danach in der Lage noch etwas zu hören… Pläne für das Wochenende: keine! Vielleicht fahren wir nach Köln zum Mittagessen, spazieren gehen und Leute gucken.
